Absolutely terrible customer service! First you can’t speak to anyone it’s an AI Bot Chat. Once it’s established that your complaint is valid you sit and wait for 20 plus minutes for a “service” representative to take over in the chat. If they disagree with your issue the chat then goes silent and nothing gets resolved. I received a pair of tights with no tags or labels (already used?) but they said there was no compensation for this. I can’t return them because now it appears as though I have removed the tags and can’t get a refund! I even sent photos of the packaging and of
the pants but the representative just kept sending me messages saying there is no compensation. Sad. I actually liked their products but due to TERRIBLE customer service I will be shopping elsewhere.
I ordered a ribbed tank 3 pack, only to receive the 3 pack packaging with one tank inside. Note, I have not opened the original packaging, but it is see-through and very clear only one tank is inside.
Even though I am well within the return period of 30 days, and the product packaging literally has not been opened, Gymshark is refusing to discuss a solution because I have not reported the issue within 7 days (which is not required according to Dutch law).
Extremely disappointing way of handling a mistake on their end.
This was my first ever GymShark order - of three matching sets (shorts and sports bras). The delivery was prompt, which was great — however, all of the shorts had large, very irritating labels sewn into the inside leg, which feels like a strange and uncomfortable design choice for sportswear.
Because of this, I decided to return all six items. I carefully repacked everything in the original packaging, making sure all tags were intact, and followed the returns process as instructed.
When I later received the refund confirmation, I noticed I had only been refunded for five items. I contacted Gymshark via their chat and was eventually connected to a representative, who explained there had been a discrepancy during returns processing. One item apparently couldn’t be scanned — an internal processing issue — so they had only refunded five items instead of the full six I had returned!
After I pointed out that this was unacceptable, they did issue the remaining refund immediately.
However, had I not checked the refund details and followed this up myself, I would have been left significantly out of pocket due solely to a processing error on their side.
Quite disappointed and likely not to reorder.
Ordered 3 pairs of tights 2 black and 1 navy and they ARE ALL SEE THROUGH. Ruined my gym workout I was so embarrassed for someone to see right through as the material was basically sheer at the slightest bend. I am extremely disappointed 3/3 of my tights are all see through. Cannot workout in.
I ordered a pair of leggings for my daughter's birthday through the company's website. A few days later, I checked the tracking information, only to see it still marked as "processing." After 11 days, it was still the same. Frustrated, I reached out to the customer service, which was a complete hassle to navigate. After some time, I finally spoke with a representative who said she would investigate my order. The next day, I received a generic email stating the item was out of stock and that I had been refunded. In short, I will not be using this company again.
I will share my frustrating experience regarding the runaround I've faced in recent days. I've been waiting for a return for more than 16 days, and it still shows as pending approval. They keep sending me emails to print the return label, despite my previous communication with customer service about having done this on December 30th. I will make sure to inform all my friends and family not to purchase from this service.
I left a review in hopes of expediting my package delivery, as I've been waiting for over a month. All I've received are repetitive emails from the support team assuring me they will address the issue. I would like to be refunded the additional charge for the exchange since I purchased the items on sale, and I need the package to arrive as it was intended as a Christmas gift for my sister. I've had to repeatedly pursue my own exchanges and refunds! I've encountered 'system errors' twice, preventing me from receiving refunds and exchanges. Communicating with AI is frustrating and unhelpful. Even when I finally reached a human representative, they were equally unhelpful! I even tried contacting the company's CEO, but received no response—clearly just a profit-driven organization! I'm extremely frustrated!
The representative was completely unhelpful. An item from my order was canceled, and I requested a discount to match the sale price. However, she refused and offered only a small 20% discount. I won't be spending any more money with this brand and will choose to go with another option instead.
What has happened to this brand? I used to enjoy their products a few years back, but my recent experience has been disappointing. I decided to purchase some new items, and their customer service has significantly deteriorated. It seems they have relocated to the USA, which might explain the issues. Their support team appears to lack understanding of processes outside of America. My order met the criteria for free shipping according to the website—free shipping on orders over a certain amount. My total was just above that threshold. However, I was still charged for delivery. I thought I would complete the order and inform them about the delivery issue for a refund. I was mistaken. Reaching out for help was challenging, and they mentioned it could take up to 5 days for a response. When I finally heard back, the representatives claimed my order didn’t qualify for free shipping as it needed to exceed a certain amount before tax. Despite multiple emails clarifying that there’s no sales tax in my country, they kept insisting my order was below the threshold, quoting it in a different currency. This confusion led to miscommunication regarding taxes, and it’s clear they don’t understand how the pricing works here. I’ve reported the issue as they are not adhering to their own terms and conditions. Additionally, I sought a refund through the payment platform, which I received. After five days of back-and-forth with them without resolution, I’ve decided to take my business elsewhere and will advise others to do the same. There are plenty of alternatives in activewear. They’ve lost a significant amount of potential sales over a small shipping fee. It’s unfortunate, as they were once a great example of a successful business.
