My son is currently stuck at an airport in China after being in transit from New Zealand for three days. His initial flight and connecting flight were canceled, leading to a rebooking for the following day. Upon arriving, he was informed that the next available connecting flight to his destination would also be the next day, but he was still booked on the original flight under someone else's name. Although they promised him a business class seat on a different connecting flight, he is now at the gate being told it's economy class only. They are denying any compensation for their mistakes and he still needs to reach his destination and return home in 13 days. They are ignoring the applicable regulations, and it’s almost impossible to get in touch with them. I strongly recommend avoiding their services, especially for young and inexperienced travelers.
