I was on a return flight from Bangkok to Sydney and the airline required me to check-in twice, which resulted in my luggage not being transferred directly to Sydney. Initially, I checked in at Bangkok airport, but upon arriving at Haikou airport in China, I had to exit the transit area, fill out an exit form, and go through immigration, including fingerprinting and a photo. After collecting my luggage, I waited until midnight to check in again and receive my boarding pass. In over 40 years of flying, this was the first time I had to check in twice for a flight with a short stopover on the same airline. Ironically, when I flew from Sydney to Bangkok, my luggage was transferred seamlessly at Haikou without needing to check in again. When I inquired at the airline's service desk in Bangkok about the inconsistency, they suggested I file a complaint, as they couldn't provide a clear answer. I'm sharing this experience to help others avoid similar unexpected situations with this airline.
My son is stranded at an airport in China after being in transit from New Zealand for three days. His original flight and connecting flight were canceled, and he was rebooked for the next day. Upon arrival, he learned that the only available flight to his next destination would also be the next day, but he was still booked on the original flight under a different name. They promised him a business class seat on another connecting flight, but now at the gate, they are insisting it is economy class only. They refuse to compensate for any of their mistakes, and he still needs to get to his next destination and return home in 13 days. They are ignoring the relevant regulations, and it is nearly impossible to get in touch with them. I strongly caution against using their services, particularly for young or inexperienced travelers.

The service was lacking, and I couldn't check in online. The planes were small and outdated. It would be better to spend a little more and choose a more reputable airline. This is a budget airline that isn’t part of any flight alliance.
None of the contact information works. The link on the website for changing flight details is non-functional. Nobody answers the phone. The chatbot never connects to a human. One of the mainland contact numbers worked, but only in the local language. This airline is remarkably ineffective. AVOID AT ALL COSTS; if you need to make changes, they will not assist.
I traveled with this airline from one city to another, arriving on December 20. Unfortunately, two pieces of my checked baggage went missing. I received a Property Irregularity Report at the airport and uploaded all necessary documents as instructed by customer service. Despite numerous daily calls over the last four days, I have received no updates or proactive communication. Each time, I was told the issue was forwarded to the baggage department, but no one has reached out to me. When I asked to escalate to a supervisor, I was told the supervisor did not speak English and was only given an agent reference number, which did not help resolve the matter. The lack of communication and accountability is unacceptable. I've been without my belongings for several days and have incurred extra expenses for essential items due to this delay.
I flew business class from one city to another and back. The seats were old and uncomfortable, with barely any room for personal items, and the in-flight entertainment was the worst I have ever encountered. The food was terrible, and the cabin crew appeared miserable and distant. The business class lounges were also disappointing. The only positive was that both flights were on time, but I won’t be flying with this airline again.
The booking system is terrible. For a modern company, their technology is frustrating. I managed to book a flight after calling a local number, but a few weeks later, they canceled my flight just weeks before departure. This seems to be a common issue, which I ignored. After multiple attempts to contact them over several days, I finally spoke to someone and received a refund days later. I learned that my call to their agent was actually redirected to another country and cost me a significant amount. Considering the original flight cost plus additional expenses with another airline, it would have been more economical to fly business class with a different airline. AVOID THIS AIRLINE.
