HGC and Dr. Rafiq are complete SCAMMERS !! AVOID at all costs!!* During my consultation I was told £2000 was for unlimited grafts for the front section of my hair and the crown, both areas would have full coverage. Then on the morning of the surgery it was only 2000 grafts and that only the front part of my head could be done and that the crown would have to be a second surgery. So this was a miss sold package. By this time I was unable to ask for a refund as the 14 day rest period was over so I would of lost my money so had no choice to go forward with the surgery.* the whole day from start to finish was rushed, from my morning meeting with Dr. Rafiq, to the surgery it self. * my front hair line was extremely uneven and wonky ( a consequence of rushed surgery )* my doner hair was extremely over harvested and loads of grafts where left over at the end.* I have been left with a red scalp and permanent scaring.* I was told you would see no scalp once my hair had came through and after a year my hair extremely patchy and looks terrible and completely unnatural.* the hairs on my front hair line all grow in different directions, the right side the hairs all grow up and the left side they all grow down.* half way through my surgery Dr.Rafiq entered the room as said I needed to pay a further £500 for GFC injections to make the procedure work better. This felt like I was being hold for ransom and such a dishonest selling ploy.* the surgery is messy and dirty I had a bad feeling as soon as I entered the surgery itself. * there is no after care and customer service is terrible. As soon as the money is handed over you don’t want to know. The whole day / surgery was a complete nightmare.During my 6 month review I was promised my hair growth was going well and by the 10 month mark I would have full growth and my scalp would be completely covered. Dr.Rafiq has mastered the art of manipulation and convinced me to go for a second surgery to cover my crown. Agreeing to this has been the worst decision of my life. Surgery 2: * I arrived at 8am for my appointment but was left waiting around for over an hour to see Dr.Rafiq * During the meeting he came across extremely rude and arrogant and had an answer for everything instead of being honest and reassuring me he kept going along with his lies. Again I had already paid in full so had no choice but to go along with the surgery.* about 2 hours into the surgery a huge fight broke out in reception from another very unsatisfied customer screaming for his money back, this filled me with even for fear and anxiety about the surgery.* when the surgery was finished the nurses wouldn’t even get me a mirror so I could see what work had been done. ( I now know the reason for this ) * even the bottle I was given to clean my hair which is supposed to be a serline solution came straight from under the tap!!!*When Ash the nurse was cleaning my head at the end he accidentally wiped off a load of grafts from my crown. he tried to disguise this and when I confronted him about this he tried to deny it, it was only when I pointed at the tissue in the bin with the grafts on that he acknowledged what he had done.* when I took the bandages off the back of my head I realised all the grafts have been taken from one side of my head and not spread out. I now fear my hair at the back will be totally uneven and patchy. ( this is obviously the reason the nurses wouldn’t provide me with a mirror to show me after the surgery) * on both surgery’s I don’t think I was even given the 2000 grafts promised, which was actually sold to me as unlimited!!!!* As a consequence of both bodged surgery’s I have been left in extreme pain and with extreme anxiety and depression. This has massively affected my relationship at home, my social and work life. I am in the process of taking legal action. UNPROFESSIONAL, UNETHICAL AND A COMPLETE FRAUD, STAY AWAY!!!!
the experience from the consultation to the surgery was excellent. the consultation gave honest recommendations and made you feel really welcome. the surgery was also fantastic. excellent service, make you feel very comfortable and relaxed. at the time of surgery it’s easy normal to feel nervous but i did not feel this once because of how they explained the procedure and how nice they were throughout the surgery. thank you very much! definitely recommend!! the team i had here were amazing! - qasim
