After my consultation I couldn't wait to begin the process of getting my hair back. From the minute I walked into the door everyone at The Hair Growth Centre, Manchester made me feel so welcome and at ease, I must admit I was very nervous but all the staff and Dr. Ditta were just so comforting and explained everything to me.During the different processes of surgery throughout the day I was constantly informed of what everyone was doing and the whole process was explained in full.I'm now 10 months in from my FUE surgery and I must say the results are amazing, due to the extent of my hair loss I'm due back in again in 3 months to get the finishing touches done and I can't wait because I know it'll be amazing once all finished.I would like to thank Dr. Ditta and all the staff for all of their hard work and I can't wait to see you all again soon for my last surgery....
After contacting Hair Growth Centre (HGC) I was invited to attend a assessment meeting. At the meeting, I told the person, I was planning to go Turkey and showed him the quotation received from Turkey. He told me if I sign up and pay today he will be able to apply a discount which expired yesterday. On that basis a price was agreed for 2 sessions and booked the first session. I wanted to book the 2nd session but the person told me that I should wait 6 months and see how the result from first session of my transplant.I did informed the person that I will be travelling abroad after 10 days of the HT but he did not mention any restriction on travel. At the meeting, I also asked the person about PRP and I was told I will not require PRP as HGC's treatment is of very high quality.After booking the first session and paid for it, I received a email confirmation along with a video link providing information of pre and post operation. Having viewed the video I realized that I will not be able to expose the head directly under the sun or enter pool or swim in the sea. Based on that I called HGC and wanted to cancel the appointment. I was told I couldn’t cancel because the appointment is less then 10 days away and it will cost me £500 more for cancellation. As the person in the booking office not willing to cancel without incurring the cancellation fee, I then contacted the person who booked my session and questioned him why he did not advise me against the travel, when I mentioned him the date and country of my travel. He then cancelled my session and rebooked another date after my holiday without applying the cancellation fee.On the day of my transplant, I arrived at their Kenton centre. At the reception I was told to pay for the 2nd session or pay another £300 for the discount applied for having two sessions. I refused to pay and told the person I don’t know anything about discount applied and I was told to wait 6 months before I can book another session. Then another person came followed by the doctor, who I was booked with for the transplant and demanding me to pay for 2nd session or pay the £300 discount given for two sessions. After I refused to pay they said they need to contact some one higher up which they did and told me I can go ahead with the transplant without paying for the second session or discount applied.I was taken into a treatment room and was told to get ready. After about 15-20 minutes waiting, I was told to move into another small treatment room. Finally the doctor treating me came and said I definitely need PRP and will cost me additional £800 for two injection. I told the doctor what their member of staff told me at the time of booking that I will not require PRP, as HGC's treatment is of very high quality. Based on the doctor advice, I paid £800 before the treatment began. At the time of booking I was told about the process and was informed that prior to the transplant medical check including blood pressure will be carried out. However, there were no check carried out including no blood pressure check prior to the treatment began.During the insertion session one of the staff named Aditya said “he cant take it any more” and left the room. Another person came and took over after a while. After the transplant was completed when i came home, i noticed a deep cut on my head. Assuming it was inflicted by the person who left the room.Since the transplant, I have had no calls from the doctor or any other staff member to see how I was and the result of the transplant. Several of my friends who has done HT both in UK and abroad told me that post transplant their doctor did video call 2-3 times in the first week.About 8 months post transplant, i emailed the doctor along with few images of the deep cut on my head and asked if HGC is able to touch up on the cut area as it was caused ny one of their staff but never received any reply.It appears that HGC is only interested in taking your money and not interested at all on post treatment care and service.
Don’t go to this place, they are thief’s they will take your money especially hamza, place is not organized, files are lost different service advisor each time, they charges me £2000 for just minoxidil and 6 months laser hair therapy, which I saw no results and the end he told me to pay £900 more for another 3 months to see results, 3 months minoxidil is £30 online, my brother had his hair transplant, on his first day when paying for the hair transplant they agreed to do as many grafts as he wanted, and on the surgery day they lied and said we got only do 500 grafts, and they got inexperienced people working on you, causing you great amount of pain, the reviews are fake they beg you to give them 5 star before you get the experience.
My first consultation was in June 2021. I was advised I needed 2 surgeries and was promised great results with a full head of hair again. I decided to have one procedure done to see the results before doing another. Prior to my first surgery, as I was paying I was informed that I needed PRP treatment in order for the transplant to be effective and for the grafts to survive. The treatment put me out of budget despite my conversations with the dr who knew my current situation - we had agreed a fixed price for both operations. But as I wanted the surgery to be a success I made the adjustments to make the PRP treatment possible. During the surgery it was extremely uncomfortable with my neck in agony and what seemed to be a handful of colleagues popping in and out and working on my operation on a rotational basis and no communication. Post surgery I was asked to leave a good review which I denied as the process had only just begun. Fast forward 6 months I was asked to send pictures of my hair which I did via WhatsApp which were ignored.We are now at the 12 month mark and what should be the end result and it is far from satisfactory. The coverage of hair is minimal as I was promised each graft would produce at least 3 strands of hair to cover my the area. The direction of hair growth looks unnatural and the texture is completely different to the rest of my hair. I sent an email following my 12 month check up with photos and I was immediately phoned and asked to come down. I denied as this is a 2hr round trip just to have a discussion so I asked for a video call. I was due a call a week ago and the receptionist (who has been the nicest in the whole situation) mentioned they had to postpone to today. I received no call - I phoned up reception to then hear the dr was in a meeting but failed to let me know this and was told he would call me back. No details of how the video call would happen. Truly appalled by the service considering the amount of money and care the show you pre op to then leave you hanging post op despite their website promising they will correct mistakes. I am requesting compensation in a form of correcting the surgery to show better results and a discount on my 2nd operation.
