I was excited to try New Wash but the final verdict is a no for me unfortunately. What worked:It definitely balanced out the greasiness of my scalp, and in my experience, the promise that you will get out of the cycle of hair being overwashed then regreasing a couple of days later came true almost immediately after I started using it. My scalp was happy. Also it feels divinely smooth to use, detangles your hair way better than conditioner, the brush just glides through your hair afterwards, and it smells very nice. What didn't work: My main issue was not grease but frizz. I don't have excessively frizzy hair but it is my main issue, and I've tried all the conditioners and sprays and serums out there, nothing seems to make much difference. I have fine hair and a few greys now which seem to make the frizz worse. I was hopeful for this product because I totally bought into the idea that it was the detergent in shampoo adding to the frizz. It didn't help at all. Actually I feel that my hair was a bit dryer and the frizz may even have worsened. Also, I was told that a 50€ pouch would last me about 75 days. I struggled to finish the month with it, washing twice a week, which makes it very expensive. So I won't be spending 50€ a month on this. Went back to shampoo and conditioner this week and my hair is smoother.
