My Sons car was ready for collection following it's MOT and a small repair, he used the Halfords close to where he work, I wanted to pay over the phone by debit or credit card or by Bank transfer for him to help him, all methodswere refused, this meant he couldn't have the car back, so had to walk in severe winter weather for 25 minutes to get to a train station, then make a 60 mile round trip the next day which was a Saturday to pay with a physical card and collect his car.I will never use Halfords again, I usually buy bicycles for my Grandchildren from them but i won't now, not one ounce of compassion! ,I even spoke to head office and the advisor put the phone down on me.
