This bank is usually good and fair, BUT,,, i called them about an online payment and the woman said i was in the date period limit to make a claim. Moving forward - I then conversated with this member of staff and told her so much about my issue and answered all her questions. Then a few days later i get an email to tell me that i am not within the time period to make a claim and that they will be taking my £40 back from my bank. How is this allowed when i was given incorrect information??This isn't OK because the call handler gave me false information, yet i have to pay the price for that. ' no pun intended!!' So wrong... This is worrying if the staff do not know the rules!!!!!
