Review Time
This bank is usually good and fair, BUT,,, i called them about an online payment and the woman said i was in the date period limit to make a claim. Moving forward - I then conversated with this member of staff and told her so much about my issue and answered all her questions. Then a few days later i get an email to tell me that i am not within the time period to make a claim and that they will be taking my £40 back from my bank. How is this allowed when i was given incorrect information??
This isn't OK because the call handler gave me false information, yet i have to pay the price for that. ' no pun intended!!' So wrong... This is worrying if the staff do not know the rules!!!!!

Today at 11am I went into the Touchwood branch of Halifax and wanted to sort my account out. Indy a lovely patient lady who went above and beyond the call of duty explained me what my options were and i made decisions accordingly. She defenately deserves recognition. I cannot put details for obvious reasons, but feel free to contact via email.
Biggest problem is not the actual issue....its the fact that none of your conduits lead anywhere near to even reviewing it let alone acknowledging the issue, and I've done ALL of them from Chat to telephony, as well as your phone app but at no point did anything lead anywhere after 2 hours of messing about. Why do you run such a shambolic organisation? You pack up at 7pm (I have FCA timestamped recordings made to you - You have lost my last payment made in good time...my bank has given all the receipt codes so you DID get it well before due date but you keep messaging to tell me my payment is overdue when I cannot get in touch to tell you to look for it
I’ve been with this bank since roundabout the beginning of the millennium and always found them very helpful when I’ve needed any help that’s important to me because I have cerebral palsy. I joined the online banking and they could not have made it any easier. A newborn baby could operate their app with no problems. And they’re always updating and making it even more better and nothing can leave your bank account or go into your bank account without you knowing because they send notifications to your phone or your watch
