I placed an on 24 May 2025 for a 1.8m High Gloss White TV Stand/Entertainment Unit L2108X-1 for $400.Hallams website indicated that the item was in stock but it wasn't and didn't arrive to me until 11 September 2025.The salesperson indicated that they had quality issues with the product and required modifications from the Chinese manufacturer hence the delay.Apparently this issue has not been resolved given that the unit was supplied with several damaged parts. Hallams required photos, which were promptly provided. They agreed to sent out replacements.I had to then follow up on two occasions. The first time I was told that the parts had already been dispatched and that I would receive a confirmation email to notify me that they would arrive on 23rd September. No email or delivery was received.I rang again on 23rd September and was told by the salesperson that he would check and get back to me. No further contact was received. I followed up again the next day and was told that the parts would be shipped asap.The replacement parts finally arrived on 30th September and the first item out of the carton was broken in half. That was it for me, so I packed up the unit and requested that Hallams take the whole thing back and issue a refund. They agreed via email.The unit arrived back in Hallams warehouse on 7th October (confirmed by email) and dispute repeated follow up calls and assurances that the refund would be issued within 2-3 business days it has not been received.I have now opened a dispute with PayPal.This company has been nothing short of a nightmare to deal with.Definitely NOT recommended 👎👎Buyer beware!!
