As per other reviews on here, a faceless deceptive company with no intent of telling truth or actioning what they say the will.
Payment in full, Tracking number for items provided to deceive customer into thinking items have been sent, no products received, promises of a refund, no action undertaken, Paypal refunds "are very complicated" which is not true. Do not engage at all with them.

Faceless Scammers

Purchased an item (entertainment unit). After a few weeks I made enquiries about the delivery and told it would be sent the following week after arriving in Australia. After a few more empty promises, the item was eventually sent two week after it arrived in Australia. The item consisted of 3 boxes. Eventually only 1 box arrived, damaged. I made further enquiries with both Hallams and the courier. After 2 weeks of debating where the missing boxes were, I begged Hallams to send me the remaining 2 boxes, which arrived also damaged about a week later. When assembling the item, I found 4 missing legs and three missing drawers. I bought it to the attention of Hallams again and was given further empty promises. 10 days later and I’m still awaiting the missing parts and a $145 refund compensation of the delivery mess. I never usually post negative reviews as I know things don’t always don’t go to plan, and I know my experience is a first world problem, but I need an opportunity to vent my debacle. In summary, I would not recommend this business.UPDATE: I was assured by (B) that the missing items would be sent on 5 Jan and a partial refund of $145 (freight charges). Nothing arrived. It was not sent. Unknown person (Support Team) responded to this review and promised the missing items would be sent on 14 Jan. Nothing arrived. Nothing sent. This business are faceless scammers. I’ve reported my matter to the Victorian Consumer Affairs and suspect the department is well aware of this deceitful business Do your research and do not deal with this business.

UPDATE: AVOID AVOID AVOID!3 months in - No item, no refund and still waiting for my update as to where it is. They're ignoring emails, calls and texts. They have now given us 5 fake expected delivery dates. I’ve finally raised this with the ACCC because I haven’t had any luck with the company but currently I have paid in full for an item to a company that has no interest in fulfilling the order.UPDATE: We have still received no response or assistance from Hallam’s Home Order, despite full payment already being made. Under the Australian Consumer Law, businesses are required to provide goods and services within a reasonable timeframe and not engage in misleading or deceptive conduct. The continued lack of communication raises concerns, and we are now considering escalating this matter to the ACCC if it remains unresolved. We hope to hear from Hallam’s promptly to resolve this.Original review:Extremely disappointed with the lack of communication and support from Hallam’s Home.We have already paid in full for our order, yet despite multiple attempts to contact them for assistance and updates, we have received no response whatsoever. There has been no acknowledgment, no explanation, and no effort to resolve the situation.I didn’t expect perfection — just basic customer service and communication, especially after payment has been made. Unfortunately, that hasn’t happened. I’m leaving this review in the hope that someone finally responds and addresses the issue.Based on our experience, I would not recommend Hallam’s Home.

Do Not Purchase

Unfortunately have had a terrible experience. Original order was placed in August 2025, and a refund was requested in early December as the product has still not arrived after 4 months. Have been going back and forth for months with limited responses and promises of a refund that is yet to arrive. At the stage where unfortunately I need to leave a review, but was hoping this could be settled offline.I have been promised a refund on atleast 3 occasions since November and this has never appeared or proof provided.

Scammers do not order from them!

Order arrived damaged and we have been sleeping on the floor since July 2025 waiting for replacement and refunds.We are still waiting for them to refund us fully and Benny keeps lying about getting our refund. They have also asked us to edit the reviews on google numerous times so they don't get exposed.Warning!!!! : Do not buy from them

Nightmare Experience!!

I placed an on 24 May 2025 for a 1.8m High Gloss White TV Stand/Entertainment Unit L2108X-1 for $400.Hallams website indicated that the item was in stock but it wasn't and didn't arrive to me until 11 September 2025.The salesperson indicated that they had quality issues with the product and required modifications from the Chinese manufacturer hence the delay.Apparently this issue has not been resolved given that the unit was supplied with several damaged parts. Hallams required photos, which were promptly provided. They agreed to sent out replacements.I had to then follow up on two occasions. The first time I was told that the parts had already been dispatched and that I would receive a confirmation email to notify me that they would arrive on 23rd September. No email or delivery was received.I rang again on 23rd September and was told by the salesperson that he would check and get back to me. No further contact was received. I followed up again the next day and was told that the parts would be shipped asap.The replacement parts finally arrived on 30th September and the first item out of the carton was broken in half. That was it for me, so I packed up the unit and requested that Hallams take the whole thing back and issue a refund. They agreed via email.The unit arrived back in Hallams warehouse on 7th October (confirmed by email) and dispute repeated follow up calls and assurances that the refund would be issued within 2-3 business days it has not been received.I have now opened a dispute with PayPal.This company has been nothing short of a nightmare to deal with.Definitely NOT recommended 👎👎Buyer beware!!
