I have a back injury and recently faced a fire incident with my dryer. Managing this stressful situation, I was relieved to find a service that promised convenience. However, it quickly became a nightmare. While my clothes were returned smelling lovely and neatly folded, the service was far from smooth. I scheduled a pick-up between 8 AM and 12 PM, but no one contacted me when they didn’t arrive. After reaching out, I was informed of driver issues and had to decide if I wanted to continue. I did, and my clothes were picked up at 5 PM with the expectation of a next-day delivery. On Sunday, I received a message at 8:30 AM stating the delivery wouldn’t happen as planned. I confirmed I still wanted the service but asked for an estimated time, which I never received. When I followed up later, I was told my clothes were in transit but then received a message about a payment issue. I was surprised, thinking I’d already paid. My card was charged significantly more than expected, and the tip was adjusted without my consent. I felt misled and stressed by this so-called luxury service. I’m not disputing the charges but want the public to be aware. Additionally, the third-party app I used claimed they couldn’t disclose the vendor’s name, which seems misleading. I’ve asked for clarification on this policy but haven’t received a response. It’s frustrating to deal with a situation like this.
