We've stayed in 2 Hilton's while on our stay 1st was Hampton Hilton Docklands London while this hotel we less impressive and the bar service was shocking, the rooms were larger than the Double Tree London Excel, and the bathrooms more modern, plus you got 4 pillows on the double bed. The parking did cost £15 a night. The Double Tree we managed to get free parking, looked very impressive when you walk in bar service as great. You got a free warm cookie on arrival. The bar prices were slightly higher than the other Hilton but good menu was much bigger. The room was notably smaller and the bathroom was dated but clean. The beds only come with 2 pillows so I banged my head against the wall through out the night. There is also a smoke detector alarm.that flashes red quite rapidly on ceiling above double bed. For me wasn't the best thing to have flashing above your bed (I have epilepsy) plus it kept me awake. So Due to the Light and Light alone I think we might actually stay in the other Hilton next time.
