Our 18-year-old cat with chronic kidney disease primarily eats wet food that we blend with water. Before getting this, she would wake me up twice nightly for her food, which I had to refrigerate each time. This device has been a true lifesaver! As soon as I set it up, she eagerly finished the first batch. Since then, she hasn't cried for food at all. She can eat at her leisure and then return to bed. It allows her to have meals while I'm at work for 10 hours a day. I’ve programmed it to rotate about 20 times daily, activating every hour and every other hour during my awake time. It keeps the food cold, so I no longer worry about serving her spoiled food. She enjoys the dish too, and I've noticed she’s eating her dry food a bit more since I added that option. I highly recommend getting additional stainless steel dishes to simplify things.
