Purchased a compressor in August for my home after using 3 times in 4 months it stopped working. When I purchased it the cashier recommended a warranty. He told me if it breaks, I simply bring it back to get a new one. So, I took the 2-year warranty for $109. Well, I brought the compressor back and they did give me a new one, but they then asked me if I wanted to buy another warranty? If you have a warranty and use it the warranty is then void no matter how much time you have left. So, I had to purchase another warranty because I am sure this will break again, so I went from a warranty with 1 year and 8 months left that I paid for to a 1-year warranty. I am done with harbor freight. I will purchase name brand tools from now on with good warranties.
