Avoid these clowns at all cost. I insured my sons car through Acorn who are the agents for Haven insurance. I paid up front for 12 months and for 12000 miles in January 2020. Bearing in mind there has been 4 months when my son could not drive his car because of a national lockdown I was shocked when recently we received a £200 fine because he went over his milage?12000 miles in one month?! No the mileage is divided by 12 so although he hasn't been anywhere for the last 4 months he is now being fined for going over his mileage allowance. The mileage being divided between the months certainly not mentioned at the time as I was the one who handled it. Please do not use these conmen. I have never come across such a disgraceful company who have the morals of a toilet and cheat children who don't have money to lose. Don't like it Acorn and Haven take me to court.
