Amendment: I was in contact with another associate that helped me out, understood the situation and was sympathetic to our situation. Also the manager reached out to help as well. And both agreed this was a learning situation for new employees. I called and spoke with representative about waiting for medical EI to come in and how can they help me on their end regarding my upcoming mortgage payment. The lady I spoke to said we could put it on end of term which I was good with and accepted the fee to do this. 4 days later she recanted what she said.
