At first the service was good, offering both English and German. However when I had to sign the contract for the apartment I realized that the price on the contract was 100€ more expensive than what was stated on the website. In addition, when I needed to hand over the keys I was late (I had an exam that was moved an hour later without notifying me). So I wrote an email two hours before the key handover informing that I will be late, but my email wasn't seen since someone still came to pick up the keys. In the end I was able to handover the keys on the same day, 5 hours later. The problem is that because I was late, they deducted 300€ from my deposit (which I got 2.5 months after moving out). I would have understood if some money was deducted due to my tardy, but 300€ is just too much. In addition, I am a student who is living in a new country by myself. The people working in HC24 know that, and I honestly feel like they took advantage of me, knowing that I can't do anything about this.
