If their telephone consultations only result in telling patients to book a GP appointment themselves, then what’s the point of having them in the first place? It’s a complete waste of time. The fact that this has happened three times in a year shows a pattern of inefficiency. If a referral is needed, they should issue it instead of forcing patients through unnecessary steps. Making people go through extra layers of bureaucracy instead of actually helping them is not healthcare—it’s just creating frustration. And then there’s the GP appointment booking system. Expecting patients to call at 7 AM and fight through endless busy lines just to *maybe* get an appointment is disgraceful. When someone has ongoing health issues, the last thing they need is a system that makes access to care even harder. ZGP24’s service is failing the very people it’s supposed to support.
