I was interested in the program, looking to get certified as a MA. I thought that it was kind of weird that the person who reached out to me sttd he tried to call and he sent me emails regarding the program never received any of that. I then called, and he sttd both times randomly in the phone call “the callIs being recorded” most businesses accredited ones at that do not state that in random parts of the phone call. He was not informative at all just simply sttd he would send an email. His name is Marlon. I get a bad feeling like this is a scam, and after reading reviews i decided not to go further with health tech academy. Fast forward this morning this will be the 3rd email call and Text since last Friday. I told him I wasn’t interested in starting until January and told him I’d reach out when I was ready. And like I said after my encounters with him, and deciding not to move forward. I kindly messaged him after he texted me asking him to please stop contacting me he then replied back “ That's all you had to say in the first place, than playing games like you're seriously interested Stop playing games” and “ No worries, I know you couldn't afford the program. It’s okay” VERY unprofessional and definitely a scam. I reached out to the admissions to speak to a supervisor, I was called back within the hour stting that this person “was let go” I don’t believe it for one second. I would not recommend health tech academy just based off my interactions with these people, and also the reviews. Doesn’t seem like a legit program.
