This program is very flexible, with a website that was easy to navigate and coaches that were very helpful. I highly recommend Robin Crims as a coach, she always answered my questions and made sure that I understood concepts. I appreciated the layout of the course topics, starting with basic principles and finishing with studying surgeries in detail. All the links and videos were very helpful. Obviously with an online course comes a lack of hands on practice, but my only problem with this course was how the skills validation part of each unit was graded by AI. I felt like there were times where I didn't pass on the first try, got a new prompt, answered in the same way and ended up passing. This program definitely does well of covering a lot of material within a 14 week time span.

If I could give them 0stars I would they are a fraudulent company. I waisted my time and they will answer the phone until you are enrolled then boom it takes months to get in touch with them ! When I finally got back in contact with them I had completed my course then when it was time for my certification test they wanted me to pay after I was told that my student loan was to cover that. Also it was so long after I completed my course I asked to take a practice exam and that was it I never heard anything else from them !!!! RUN don't waste your time or your money with this company !!! I’m currently in the process of suing them!!!!! ( That is how bad it is !!!)

Frustrating Experience with the Program

1. I enrolled in a Pharmacy Technician Program that was reasonably structured and thorough, earning a 7/10 for its self-paced nature. 2. The payment plan offered is unreasonable; I suggest paying in full or avoiding enrollment altogether. After choosing the payment plan, I receive two invoices monthly—one for my enrolled program and another for a program I am not part of. 3. Communication with nearly all departments has been exceptionally poor. I've been trying to reach the finance department since October 2025, and it's now January 2026 with no resolution to the double invoicing issue. They did contact me before the holidays, assuring me the extra invoices would stop, but it has proven ineffective. I still get bills for a program I am not enrolled in. 4. My frustration with the coaches is hard to express. However, Miss Lakeisha stands out as an excellent team member—she is proactive, attentive, and consistently leads productive meetings. In contrast, the career coaches tasked with assisting me in building my LinkedIn, resume, and career skills have been disappointing. I've had two coaches who frequently arrived late for our 30-minute sessions without notice, and one didn't show up at all. The second coach, Miss Nayab, had one session with me, and during our next meeting, she seemed unprepared and lacked any notes from our first discussion. Another coach, Miss Malika, completely stopped responding after I shared my concerns about my experience with Miss Nayab. My recommendation is to remain disciplined and focused in your studies. Utilize YouTube and peers for interview preparation, professional development, and effective study habits, dedicating 3-4 hours daily to review the chapters. The reliability of the career coaches is questionable, but Miss Lakeisha has been an exceptional resource, providing valuable feedback and guidance for my career advancement and preparation for the PTCB exam.

Frustrating Experience from the Start

I encountered issues from the moment I began this program. After signing up and paying for the course, the website frequently crashed, preventing me from completing assignments until a month later. Although I was relieved to finish my modules, which I completed on November 25, it's now January 26, and I have emailed multiple contacts requesting my exam code, only to receive evasive responses. My calls go unanswered. This service feels like a complete scam. I strongly advise against using them. They are hindering my progress toward becoming a medical assistant and securing employment. They seem more interested in taking your money and disappearing. No one seems to offer any assistance. I'm seriously contemplating legal action since I haven't received the full product I paid for.

Untrustworthy service

They are untrustworthy and it's a complete waste of money; they seem more interested in easy profits than in education. I've tried calling multiple times without success, and when I did manage to speak with someone, the representative was quite rude. I've also sent messages requesting a refund, but there has been no response. I am eager to receive my refund as soon as possible.

I signed up for a free online session to learn about the surgical tech program. Everyone joined on time, but we waited over 25 minutes just to see their logo, and no one from their side ever joined. They didn't even respond in the chat when the meeting eventually started. I won't be trying again.

The health tech Academy has been very disappointing

I want to express my dissatisfaction with the program, which has been quite troubling. It seems poorly managed and fails to deliver the support it claims to offer, particularly regarding externship placements. Throughout my enrollment, communication was unreliable; calls went unanswered, there was no voicemail option, and all interactions were funneled through a messaging app, making everything feel unprofessional and untrustworthy. I only received responses during enrollment or payment processes, not when I sought assistance. The coursework was also an issue, with several videos malfunctioning and appearing to be sourced from public platforms rather than original content, hindering effective learning. Moreover, finding fluent English speakers for assistance added to the frustration of an already chaotic situation. The lack of externship support, a key reason for my enrollment, was the final straw for me. I plan to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau to inform other prospective students about my experience.

Currently navigating my experience with health tech

At this moment, I'm in a state of uncertainty with the program. They are a supportive online school, and I appreciate their encouragement, but I feel there might be something lacking. I'm hopeful about completing my clinicals after my courses to pursue a career in surgical tech. However, living in a rural area raises concerns about their ability to assist me in that regard. Overall, they have been quite good.

Positive experience so far

My experience has been quite positive. The only drawback is that I prefer having physical materials to study from, as I'm a visual learner. The coach has been fantastic, always responsive to my questions, even during her vacation. I appreciate the effort to make this a great learning experience for older learners like myself.
