I've been a customer for years...no option to change from them as my home is part of a district heating system.In that time, countless visits by engineers because the system failed, many times during the winter months. Engineers are a mixed bag ..some good..some blatantly lie to make you feel something is happening when as soon as they walk out of the door, there will be no further action taken to resolve your reported faults. Also 8 out of 10 times engineers don't even come out at the arranged time. You arrange it with their customer service dept...but somehow the engineer doesn't get booked in or engineer won't know about it. You waste your time waiting at home on agreed date! I've reported them to the ombudsman and got compensation...but a couple of visits later it's the same. Eon aren't serious about providing a reliable service so if you have the choice...DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY! YOU'VE BEEN WARNED! 💯
