The Grundfos pump we received was not the new one we were expecting. It was obviously old, the surface scraped, scuffed and dirty with rusted pipework and with a rusty dirty liquid seeping into the packaging. On checking the website, we see, in small print (!) that the item is described as 'old new' stock. Old, yes, but nothing at all 'new' about it. Quite obviously 'used'. Not having noticed that information in small print, we were expecting a new part. In addition, we are informed that we have to pay any return postage - which for an item this heavy would be prohibitive, as well as a 20% 'restocking' fee. 'Buyer beware' indeed!
