I have just completed the GVC course provided by Heliguy. First of all, I found the online training to be interesting and stimulating. The training structure enables you to progress through topics without feeling overwhelmed with the amount of learning material. Learning objectives are clearly set out and you are able to track your progress throughout. I enjoyed the knowledge tests and this helped me retain the information well, ready for the theoretical examination. The practical training was delivered by Jack Sharpe. I thoroughly enjoyed this part of the course, and I praise Jack for his in depth knowledge, professionalism and patience. Jack used different training methods to assist me in with the manoeuvres for the flight assessment (which was something I really struggled with at first!). Jack used his excellent sense of humour when teaching which enabled me to remember the steps required for the manoeuvres. Jack is an absolute credit to the Heliguy team, he made me feel comfortable, encouraged me when I found elements of the practical training difficult, and pushed me to achieve a successful first attempt. After the flight assessment, Jack put in the extra time and effort to show us further skills including the mapping missions.Overall, I have learned a great deal and feel confident and safe when deploying for drone operations in the future. I would definitely look to peruse further training with Heliguy, and cannot recommend them enough.
We had a 3 day course in Newcastle, our instructor was Jack Sharp. Over the first two days we managed to go through so much information but throughout the entirety it was very engaging, interesting and fun! Jacks engagement with both me and my colleague was really great, very professional but also a good laugh, got us all out of our shells as the course went on.After successfully completing the assessment on the third day. Jack put in the extra effort to show further tools and setting that can be used in our line of work, talking us through mapping missions.
Had a drone repair and GVC course... Heliguys went the extra mile, far beyond what any company would of reasonably been expected to do, to help me get tho the course. This included many, many ,many phone calls, loads of emails with details and my documentation to get it right, and a video call with Leon last minute, who guided me through doing a NOTAM, so that I could complete my flight assesment the next day. For what you pay for the course , the support it's self is worth that before anything else. I have passed my GVC, now and with people like Leon and Tom and the whole tram over there thaylt wouldn't of happened. So yeah, 100% recommend
I had lens fog , with my mini 3 pro , which is a warranty claim , whilst this is something that DJI would replace no problem that takes weeks , heliguy was able to make this replacement happen in 2 days instead of weeks! great service! massively saved my bacon as i have a drone business 10/10 heliguy!
All I can say, is I only wished I found these guys ages ago..... I ordered a mini 3 drone, and it literally arrived in just UNDER 24 hours and that was weeks ago....DJI service and repair In Netherlands, sorry, but they are absolutely horrible when it comes to customer service, DJI Nether' IMHO....need some lessons on how to treat a customer, coz my drone has just been sitting in customs for a few days shy of a month, I don't know why I didn't even think to myself "I wonder if there is anywhere In UK that sells and repairs?" Guys, thank you for getting my drone to me in record-breaking time. Luckily, I am yet to try Heliguy and their relentless pursuit refresh or what DJI are renaming to "Pro"For the time you absolutely havt o have your drone dlivere FAST, whther Is be via warranty, Heligus version if Care Refresh, requite trainin....PLUS, IMJO, have to make DJI Ntherlans and probably evert other request.serive purchaase etc and you wanr It done, In the UK by a bunch of fantastic, poliyr and you desaure/want/must have the besr possible Experience,BUT completely and utterly Make DJI Ntherlands look like a bunch if amateurs, accept no substitution Heliguy are and do perform so well, put it this way....there not et no are NUMERO UNO, the cream of the crop, the ones on the top. Cream of the crop. Unlike DJI Netherlands, these guys are polite, respectful Professional with a capital P - IMHO, these guys are not Just handy to have bookmark, but simply put If you even THINK, DJI - it HAS to be Heliguy!
I needed to get an A2 CofC so I can fly my drone at a wedding without worry. Heliguy Drone training made this easy to do. Always someone there on chat if needed, the videos explained everything in great detail and the small revision tests made everything stick in my head. Great Training set up.
Excellent feedback and guidance from the knowledgeable staff at Heliguy. They made the learning as effortless as possible, and really assisted with the nitty gritty of the paperwork and administration.Ben really put me at ease on the assessment, and provided very helpful feedback after it was over.
