I ordered some clothing from Helikon-Tex in Poland after checking with them about paying VAT, and was assured that they would charge me 20% VAT and send appropriate documentation with the package for the UK customs.I was extremely annoyed to be charged 20% VAT again by the courier (UPS), who despite me emailing them my invoice which showed I had already paid VAT, they refused to refund me as the documentation sent from Helikon-Tex showed that I had NOT already paid VAT!I have emailed Helikon-Tex about this 4 times over the last few weeks, requesting a refund of the VAT, and I have included a copy of the Polish documentation which UPS's investigations team sent me, but they have not answered any of my emails!I have tried contacting customer services via the contact page on the website and by directly emailing them.IF YOU ARE IN THE UK, DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY AS THERE IS A GOOD CHANCE YOU WILL GET RIPPED-OFF BY BEING CHARGED 40% VAT!
