We requested a quote for a one off deep clean of our new home. We wanted the two bedroom house to be professionally cleaned before we moved in mid November. We were sent a very detailed quote for £270 highlighting all the areas that should have been either cleaned, sanitised or polished. These areas included radiators, doors, skirting boards, sockets, light switches, windows, all surfaces including top of cupboard. The quote also included the removal of all cobwebs and marks on walls. When the team of two turned up on 13th November it was clear that they were poorly prepared for the job. They seemed to lack a number of tools and the equipment that had was either dirty or inadequate for the task. When a professional clean is promised someone would expect that professional tools would be used. After they left we realised that most of the tasks highlighted in the quote had not been completed and the dirt and grime that was there before they arrived was still there. In detail: The cobwebs didn’t get removed in any of the rooms, the windows frames didn’t get cleaned (only the glass bit), the doors didn’t get wiped nor cleaned, the skirting boards didn’t get cleaned and the radiators did not get touched. The internal blinds in en-suite bathroom and landing area did not get wiped nor dusted. The was a dead moth on one of the lounge window sills when the cleaners arrived and the very same moth was still there after they left....apparently that area was cleaned (!!!!!!). The downstairs loo didn’t get touched either. When we contacted the Company to provide feedback and highlight our profound disappointment we were told that they would have sent the same cleaners to rectify the situation. When they turned up for the second time they were even less prepared! When we asked them to remove the cobwebs from ceiling areas they didn’t even have a duster! We had to provide them with ours..! Their idea of removing cobwebs was to drag a sharp hoover tube along the ceiling edges and corners with the obvious risk of marking the paintwork. When we asked them to dust and cleaned the radiators they said they didn’t have any suitable tool either! We are just flabbergasted at the very poor level of professionalism shown by this Company.
