My order arrived late and, while the box itself wasn't visibly damaged, the ingredients inside told a very different story. Multiple items were torn, broken, or pierced, and around half were completely unusable — a clear sign that no care was taken when the box was packed.
To make matters worse, there were no recipe cards included at all, so even the ingredients that were salvageable would have been difficult to use.
When I contacted support, they offered a £13 credit as a resolution — which is pretty pointless given I have no intention of ordering from Hello Fresh again. A credit to a service you've lost all confidence in isn't a refund, it's a way of avoiding one.
I'd strongly advise others to look elsewhere for a meal kit service that actually delivers what it promises.
