I bought my partner a gold plated ring that was advertised as tarnish free and a lifetime warranty. Within 30 days of getting it it stated to tarnished and lose is plating. I contacted them regarding my concerns as it was a gift for someone and it hasn’t lasted. My partner doesn’t shower with his jewellery wash his hands with them or anything so there was no big reason for it to fail. Rather than honour their lifetime warranty they offered me a half price coupon for a new one. I declined and referred them back to their own marketing to which they came back with another offer that doesn’t align with their offer of replacement. After a lot of back and forth they finally offered me a replacement ring BUT I have to pay for shipping… for something of theirs that didn’t meet the expectations advertised. Their shipping was $20USD which is appalling for an Australian, who pays $430 for postage? Why should I have too? I spent a lot of money on this ring, it does not match their promises of tarnish free nor do they hold to their own lifetime warranty marketed on their website.
