I had a very disappointing experience with Helpling Singapore.
I specifically booked a Signature cleaning service because I wanted a higher standard of cleaning. However, the platform sent a Classic cleaner instead, which was not the service I booked.
The cleaner spent 3 hours at my home, but only managed to clean the bathroom and kitchen sink. The rest of the house was barely touched. I ended up wasting 3 hours and still have to hire another cleaner to finish the job.
What’s more frustrating is that despite the wrong service type being sent, the company still asked me to pay for the Classic session and only offered a $10 discount, which does not fairly resolve the issue.
As a customer, if I book and pay for a specific service tier, I expect the company to deliver that service.
Sending the wrong service category and then charging the customer for it is extremely disappointing.
I hope the company reviews how bookings are assigned and handles such cases more fairly in the future.
