Terrible experience, 6 weeks, 5 different cleaners all cancelled after max 2 weeks, no longer on the platform... There is something very wrong on the supply side of Helpling, either the pay is too low for anyone but the most desperate to work with the company or it is just not something they care to optimise for. Every time someone quits the platform, a new stranger is randomly assigned and shows up on your doorstep. The cleaning results vary from barely surface cleaning to 'ok' cleaning. After incurring damage by a cleaner (broken lamp), the process for retrieving costs is a bureaucratic mess, only the most stubborn will be able to see it through. Also, don't give out your door key to the cleaners as they won't be around for long and you have no guarantee that you will get your keys back. According to Helpling, that's not something they deal with; it's a contract between you and the cleaner. This means you ALWAYS have to be there when a cleaner arrives, which makes this service inferior to a well established relationship with a regular cleaner. Even though this may be an incidental very very bad streak, after calling Helpling, they said they would have to discuss with their superior's if the plan can be cancelled or not. Don't fall into this trap!"and gain back free time within a couple of clicks.", should be "loose more time than doing it yourself, while spending money".
