It‘s been a year since I had my hairtransplant done with Hermest.I flew down and was put in a very nice hotel right in the city. The next day I was brought to the clinic first thing in the morning. I was nervous and the clinic looked a little bit sketchy at first, but I was already there so I asked alot of questions about some details of the contract, the clinic and other stuff to inform me better if this was the right decision for me. There was a lady that was my translator since I speak german, she calmly answered all my questions and helped take away some of the nervousness and my doubts. So I‘ve gone ahead and did the surgery. I’m not gonna lie, the anesthesia put on my head through needles hurt like hell and I almost couldn’t handle it, I have to mention it was also possible to be put to sleep without pain but I don’t like the tought of being asleep during the operation, so I got the anesthesia with the needles. After the painful part of the needles the whole process was quick and easy. Couldn‘t feel a thing while they were operating I was watching some series I downloaded on my phone and it was fairly quickly doneAfter that they put a bandage on my head and I could go back to the hotel, the first night was rough, the bleeding wouldn‘t stop and I couldn‘t sleep for more than 15 minutes at a time, but I handled.The next day they already took off my bandage and washed my hair for the first time and showed me how to take care of it over the next few months.Back home the first 2 weeks I had to sleep with a neckpillow and on my back, it wasn‘t comfortable and hard to sleep but necessary to not damage the hair follicles. The bleeding stopped after about 3 days. And the healing process was good, not really painful just pay attention to how you treat your head and you will be fine.But how is the result you‘re asking?Honestly pretty good, its not as dense as it used to be when I was younger but its really good compared to the hair I had before. Because I had strong hairloss and started treating it too late with minoxidil I had lost most of my hair and hermest gave them back to me. Now because of the sheer amount of hairloss they could only transplant to the front of my head (i still have a crown of hairloss) because transplanting more hair at once over my entire head would have most likely ended in scars because my skin couldnt handle that much damage.So I still have to do a second operation for the crown part of my head to be full of hair again and I plan on doing that this year and I will go with hermest again for that procedure, they did a good job and I trust them to give me my full hair back!
