I strongly advise against using Hertz at Dubai International Airport.I booked a higher category vehicle online at a competitive rate. Upon arrival, I was told — without any prior notice — that my reservation had been cancelled. Yet, I was able to show the staff that the booking still appeared as active in their system, which they acknowledged.Despite this, they forced me to accept a lower category vehicle at a higher price, with no alternative or explanation beyond blaming a so-called “pricing error”.No apology, no gesture of goodwill — just cold, unhelpful staff and an obvious strategy: lure customers with fake prices, then cancel the booking at the counter and make them pay more for less.Customer service is nonexistent, and there’s zero accountability. This is clearly a dishonest practice, especially shameful coming from a major international brand like Hertz.Avoid at all costs.
