WARNING: DO NOT RETURN AFTER HOURS. They charged me $690 for a scratch I didn't cause. Like other reviews, I returned the car after hours. Took a video of the entire vehicle. Returned it in the exact condition I received it. The next morning, I was sent a letter and charged $690 for a new scratch on the door that wasnt there the night before. I sent them pictures and video of the van as it was when I returned it, but to no avail. They insisted on charging me.Upon looking at other similar reviews on this site where this same thing happened to others, one can conclude that one of two things is happening: Either, 1. This is a scam against tourists who dont purchase the extra insurance offered by Hertz. Or 2. The sketchy back lot they have you drop the cars off after hours is being routinely vandalized and they refuse to address the problem. Either way, they should do better for their customers. They have a problem they refuse to fix. If you have to rent a car from them, DO NOT RETURN AFTER HOURS.
