I was charged CHF 760.00 for two very minimal scratches on the rims of the wheels, plus an additional CHF 90.00 damage administration fee. One scratch was barely noticeable, and the other was essentially invisible. To make matters worse, Hertz took photos and digitally enhanced the scratches in white to make them look worse than they actually were.This feels like a total rip-off. I understand minor damages need to be addressed, but this level of overcharging for barely visible wear and tear is unacceptable.This experience has left me with no desire to rent from Hertz again.
