I hired a car for 11 days with a quote of 481 Euros but ended up paying 1140 euros!!!!!!I extended my rental for 3 days and the price doubled because they changes the rate from 200 per week to 322 per week for the WHOLE RENTAL - not just the extra 3 days! There were also a whole host of extra fees when hiring including fuel, service fees and VAT which are not apparent when you book.When I contacted Hertz to complain and question this they said it's in their terms that the rental rates will change if you change the booking. But it's not clear when you are the customer.I will never use Hertz again for the way they squeeze money out of you.
