You might think your case will differ from most 1 reviews here but please for your own wallet and comfort of mind, read through them and see the red thread.I rented for two weeks and 1 day with Hertz in Spain for our holiday. Unfortunately, because me and My partner got covid we had to abort our driving vacation a week early and had to return the car at a different Hertz office than the one we picked it up at.For this, they added a charge of 90 euros, which I can definitely understand, BUT, they charged the fee twice from my card, meaning they added it to the grand total twice, even though they only mention it once on the receipt. They also added small other charges around it making it land on something like 200+ euros for returning the vehicle 6 days early...I advise extreme caution when dealing with them as you cannot reach them by phone or email afterwards and their response time is up to more than a week.If you care about your money and your sanity, then do choose some other rental company at all costs.
