Disgusting customer service. On arrival I was offered the choice of a 2,200 Euro hold on my card or a 26 Euro per day extra insurance which would cover me for everything, no excess.On my final day, I was walking on a beach before heading back to the airport and lost my car hire key. Everyone I spoke to on the phone was horrendously rude. I was told I was on my own, they wouldn't help me, I was stranded on a beach in the middle of nowhere, alone, and they refused to offer me any help to get me to the airport. When I eventually got there, at great expense, I was told by the Hertz representative on the desk at Dublin airport that no one cares. Multiple times.I've now been charged on my card with no email or explanation as to what it's for, and am quite frankly horrified by the lack of customer service from this company. Would give zero stars if I could. Disgusting.
