I hired a car through Ryanair and on arrival at Kerry Airport was offered an upgrade to a different car but with no mention of an additional charge of 170 euro on top of what I already paid to Ryanair. While this was included in documentation I initialed the person I dealt with never mentioned the charge and if this is Hertz policy it leaves a lot to be desired. Any proposed changes to a contract should be verbally spelled out to a customer. I have been offered upgrades for free by other carhire firms.Very disappointed, Michael
