The experience was fair; the reception was adequate and the scan went well. However, there was minimal interaction from the sonographer, who spoke only a few words, and the gender scan was completed in about 10 minutes. We didn’t receive many good photos because she focused more on the gender than the baby, which was disappointing since we wanted to keep it a surprise. This should have been an exciting appointment for my first child to see their sibling, but the mood felt rather flat. My prior experience was fantastic, but this time I left feeling a bit underwhelmed and unsure about returning. There was still time during our appointment for additional photos, and with no one waiting after us, it felt rushed and not very welcoming considering the price of the scan.
