I've been using my hearing aids for about four years now. They weren't inexpensive (around 4K). Each year, I go for a hearing test. I've had my ears checked, and while there hasn't been any improvement, I don't expect any. It could be due to my time in the army with loud weapons (we didn't have ear protection back then), or maybe my years at LHR, or it might just be age-related hearing loss. This time, the hearing test was more thorough; I spent over an hour with a very professional representative. It was the most comprehensive testing I've experienced, moving in and out of the booth with various tests, both with and without my aids. My hearing has declined slightly, so she adjusted my aids accordingly. However, I was advised that I need to wear them more, at least six hours a day, which will be a challenge, but I will try. The staff at the location are knowledgeable, always polite and helpful, so I don’t mind visiting. I would definitely recommend the service.
