Worst part, if you refuse and state you would like to have a second opinion, they will bully you by cutting the mains gas off and threaten to report you.In our case I blocked the engineer from cutting our gas and ended up having a heated argument as he was refusing to leave and kept threatening to report us and have the gas cut off. I wish we had recording to send it to BBC watch dog and rouge traders TV show.Called another company and my boiler only needed a new thermostat and it’s all up and running now. I wish I could mention their name but this will then sound like I am advertising for someone.God knows how they deal with old pensioners and venerable families with little knowledge of gas and boilers. I wish i had read reviews before calling them.Stay clear !
