Diagnosed with “mild hypertension” approx’ 1 year ago and a retired nurse with over 35 years clinical experience I was excited to try the Aktiia system and have been using daily since purchase. I am diligent in my calibration of the system. I have found the system to produce results that are dangerously innacurate and simply cannot be relied on! Both Systolic and Diastolic measurements constantly differed from recordings obtained using personal digital sphygmomanometers (accuracy regularly compared to hospital grade machines). In short neither the cuff nor the bracelet produced recordings that I could rely on. I reached out to Aktiia customer services some time ago - alerting them to my concerns however, they failed to respond to my email. As an experienced medical professional I regret that I simply could not recommend this device !The views I have expressed here are my honest assessment of the Aktiia Lightweight Blood Pressure Bracelet & Cuff purchased late 2022
