Bought a b-max, was assured it had been thoroughly safety checked. Got there, both wing mirrors were broken, non functional indicator and tyre pressure sensor on. Instant MOT fail. Obviously not "thoroughly checked" - that's when i should have left. Instead we bought it anyway, started juddering on the way home. Took it back within 24 hours, was refused a refund as their "technicians" couldn't reproduce the fault. After almost a month of them misquoting the consumer rights act ("fundamental fault??" - sorry that's not part of the law) i went down there, sat a "technician" in the car and made him drive it. We both sat there as it was bouncing around, we hadn't even left the customer car park before he said "yeah that's juddering." I'd had the thing less than 24 hours total and they still floated a "usage fee" - unbelievable. Still not had my expenses back shelly promised me either.
Actually gave them the benefit of the doubt and looked at another car from Hilton, was told to come down for 16.00, got there and they told me the car wasn't ready and to come back Monday. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice etc.
Their admin is poor. I'm several hundred pounds out of pocket, no refund, i had one reply to over 20 emails. I was hung up on several times. The staff were rude, dismissive and above all else, they lied. A lot. I've wasted a huge amount of time, annual leave and petrol going back and forward from a garage that flips cars and lies about checks. Buy from a small independent place, not these clowns.
