In the process of moving house and have received and had collected 4 x 8 yards skips to date . I needed a smaller skip one for the last bit of waste so decided to order the HIPPO bag as thought the process would be easy as less damage to my new driveway . Ordered the bag before 12pm and was expecting it the next day, didn’t receive it for 3 days. I read the terms and conditions when booking as was aware of the road width required and the mention of cables . I booked a collection and was then contacted yesterday to advise the driver couldn’t collect as there were cables ?? I live on a standard street where cables are in the air above houses. I called and the the team were very unhelpful . I have already paid £240 for this service and was then advised I could pay an additional £130 for a man with a van , £370 for removal of some boxes . They have advised that they could refund some but there would be a call out charge of £85 but still haven’t received this or even a response to the email I have sent, Totally disgusting if you ask me as my road is no different to any other road so the driver just couldn’t be bothered. Like I said at the beginning , I have had several skip and building supply companies deliver and collect over the last couple of weeks with large vehicles and grabbers and there has been zero issues . I am now stuck with a bag of waste which I need to pay again for to be collected if I ever get a refund .. Stay clear. What made it worse is that I wasn’t very nice to the lady on the phone but was very upset and annoyed and that isn’t like me at all so a very stressful experience
