It has taken me from the 7th until 23rd to get someone to take ownership of the appalling service endured on the 7th. Start with a lack of parking, service reception staff that can't make eye contact and offer no information at all about the work to be carried out, continue with no update on progress or indeed car being ready. Upon collection the car interior reaks of petrol, no effort made to vent this or even let this customer know before I open the door. Same service receptionist then treats me like an idiot stating "It's fine that will soon go". Formal complaint raised with Hyundai UK who then took 9 days to take no action and forward the complaint to the dealer, that I was trying to let them know about. Today, still no contact from anyone, I rang Holdcroft Macclesfield and asked for General Manager (on holiday), arranged a call back from Andrew Salt, this occurred after he had aquainted himself with all the correspondence that had been 'sat on'. So, the 2nd star is because I've finally been acknowledged, been assured Andrew is looking into everything that I have brought to his attention with a view to bring the dealership up to the standard it has clearly fallen below. I'll have to watch the reviews for signs of improvement as I won't be returning in the short term.
