I thought Saga had updated their customer service systems including payment portals etc. but I was mistaken. I am still on the phone after 45 minutes with very little hope of my call ever being answered. Perhaps they imagine that everyone over the age of 50 has nothing better to do. I tried to pay the balance of my holiday today, only to get an automated message that the payment portal was out of service but I should use the tlephone payment methd instead. So of couse I tried. The message said that it did not recognise my booking number...3 more attempts and it finally did. Then it did not recognise my date of birth.....5 more attemtpts and then the robot voice sent me through to a travel advisor who for some reason is not there. What am I supposed to do now?
