I booked a car through Holiday car for pickup in Silao, Mexico, with all fees included (ref 03121287, MX 921879410) . When picking it up, i was informed that the one-way fee had not been paid. At the rental counter, I contacted Holiday for a resolution of the case and was informed by the attendant that there had been a problem in transferring the amounts to the rental company.
The Holiday attendant asked me to pay the missing fee and that it would be reimbursed right after. what I did since I needed the car. Since then I have been waiting for the reimbursement of the amounts overpaid due to Holiday's mistake, always with excuses that they are in contact with Mex, but it is not about Mex and rather about Holiday returning the fees paid and not forwarded to the rental company.
It has been almost 30 days since the incident, my credit card has closed, and I am forced to pay out of my own pocket an unexpected amount due to Holiday's incompetence and slowness in resolving their own mistake. I found the service completely unprofessional and the delay unacceptable, and I feel that I will never feel safe doing business with this company again. I request an immediate refund of the overcharged fees.
