Very comfortable cottage in a good location. Hobbit theme was subtle without being too cheesy. Lots to do in the area even if the weather not good. Westward Ho! and Bideford walkable from cottage. I believe the SW Coast path is vey close too, but was just too wet for us to explore this, it being February and all.
