Honestly such a disheartening experience. I was in dire need of a dog sitter and reached out. Eventually I got a sitter to reply, but by this stage it was too late and I had found someone else , on a different site. I immediately messaged Holidog asking them to help me cancel the booking , my subscription and give me a refund as I didn’t actually benefit from their services at all and it was within 14 days. Also on my current mobile there were no cancel tabs to click- which is why I messaged them immediately to cancel the sitter. I then get little to no emails from them and when I do, they have declined to refund me my money and send me T&C’s. I would understand if I had waited a few weeks or even accepted a sitter which replied for us to make plans, but I emailed them on the day to inform them of what happened and still, nothing. Basically as soon as you click enter you agree to losing your money despite receiving the services required. I will not be using this site again. It was a let down and for a company who claims to provide top notch service and care for their dogs, they showed little benevolence or understanding towards my situation which was very upsetting. Most sites would give you back your money as you didn’t utilise the service to the extent you should have, but not in this case.
