What an abysmal site you operate I’ve been using for 10 years never had a booking as a pet sitter because you can’t discuss fxxking anything - everything is blocked how anyone books with you I do not know - no one’s going to book if you can’t even tell the dog owner where your located or they come for a visit before booking - rover is soo much better

My first experience with Susan was brilliant .she was very flexible with pick up time which made it a comfortable for us However it wasn’t easy to book I had already paid for one year VIP subscription I still was charged £5

Easy site to use

Easy site to use, simple navigation and plenty of sitters to choose from, lots of information about the sitters and the services they offer. I would and have recommended Holidog to lots of others looking for sitters.

I had a great experience with Holidog

I had a great experience with Holidog - I needed to find someone to look after my Cocker Spaniel dog over Christmas, and the girl who looked after him was fantastic. She really looked after him well and sent daily updates and photos. He had a great time and obviously adored her.Thanks Stefanie and thanks Holidog!

Very poor customer service

I was able to find some good sitters, but none of them had prior references and they all come from another site. Several wanted much more than the rates stated.The service renewed a week early without a warning and it seems to be impossible to get a response from their customer service in regards to a refund or change in plan.

I have reached out to several dog sitters, and never ever get a response, Ive tried using this site a couple of times, and not once has any of the advertising dog sitters ever responded.

It’s just a scam

The booking never happened as the sitter was unavailable. Messaged right away to let them know this and to request a refund as the sitter was unavailable. Got an email back telling me to send an email to”Ana”, which I did. She got back to say she will look into it. It’s been 3days and nothing. How difficult is it to verify a booking never happened and issue a refund? Instead I’m asked to review a booking that never happened. Also there’s no option to cancel the account or membership. This is just a scam

Absolutely horrible Company, they don't want to give my money back, no refund for me, they are robbers!!! Be very careful, the pensioners on the site are also very cheeky and try just to get hour money without any care about pets! !!!!DO NOT BECOME A MEMBER!! IS A JOKE!!!

So very misleading website shows a…

So very misleading website shows a booking charge with sitter you go to pay and it takes a £61.50 amount, soon realise that’s their subscription charge. Their T&C’s are not clear at all and after realising the mistake and also the sitter not being suitable either, within 5 mins contact Hoildog to cancel everything and request a refund, I was sent back and forth by some one called Mary who just wished to delay the process but any emails sent to their own email as directed on their own website as per their refunds process go unanswered. Just this Mary who refuses to do anything. Legally you have to have a cooling off period and I believe 5 minutes is warranted enough. Terrible company stay clear.
